What kind of homes does LaBram specialize in building?
LaBram Homes is proud to create luxury, multi-story homes that reflect the leading edge of design and comfort. When you contact us, one of the first things we’ll discuss is the kind of home you’re looking to build. We love designing and creating homes that reflect our clients’ tastes and dreams. You can also bring in your own design, and we’ll be as dedicated to the development process as if it were ours.
Once you have the land, and we decide that we’re a good fit for your vision, we’ll conduct a site visit, soil test, and land survey, and then work on designing the home. Our designs will include anything you want to maximize, like:
- The amenities
- The experience you want to enjoy and create
How involved do I need to be?
Most of our clients are very involved in the design process, but that kind of commitment won’t require much of your time. We’ll set up regular meetings to go over the status of your project and what’s coming up next. Because we can communicate with each other remotely, you don’t need to be here during the design process. Instead, we can do a lot of our collaboration over Zoom.
Once the building process begins, we’ll ask you to come down for the electrical walk-through, pre-drywall walk-through, and final walk-through.
Aside from that, you can be as involved or laid back as you want to be.
How do I track my new home’s progress?
Another benefit to working with LaBram: We use the Buildertrend app and its daily log feature so that you can see the progress of your home. With Buildertrend, you can also see and approve of materials you’ve selected, and see what the costs are in real time.
You’ll also have standing weekly calls with your construction manager, project manager, and Elisa LaBram, the company’s president. Elisa’s enthusiasm for working with customers embodies the LaBram value.
This is my first custom home. Should I be worried?
You don’t have to worry when you work with us. Some of our customers are a bit fearful because they don’t know what they don’t know. The custom build process is entirely new to them. But this is what we do, and what we’ve done, for 37 years.
